Wireless Design within the Medical Device Community

While the debate remains, it is quite clear that the patient monitoring, infusion therapy, and the host of other device companies, to include such areas as pulse oximetry will have to finally agree to an open source standard of wireless connectivity.  This then can be driven into the infrastructure companies that manufacture wireless enterprise gear.
