Last year my wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It only has a 6% survival experience. Through fortunate early detection and the experience and dedication of www.fccc.edu, surgery made her a survivor cancer free. Oh yes, need to mention the cutting edge surgical acumen of Andrew Gumbs, M.D. You can go to their site and read our story. No chemo and no radiation therapy! However, wireless communications was non-existent on a cellular perspective in the hospital of which was not only frustrating but added to the emotional burden as we have had continued follow up visits. Over the past year I have been working with them to improve this as a part of just giving back. It is my goal in 2011 to make sure they have adequate coverage with all the carriers throughout the campus. In November in Phildelphia we will be participating one of first "walks' to benfit further research.
