As we close out this decade of huge technological advances; for sure as evident we (as health care technology innovators)  have made great strides in advancing the wireless side in the medical device and health care enterprise. For one, who came up from the legacy side of CATV telemetry design, then through the initial advances of the approval of 802.11b, (1999) and design engineering of wireless on a lot of levels it has been quite a ride. The end goal here (my opinion) as we move forward into the next decade is to improve the quality of health care, not just chasing or selling the next greatest solution offering. As we enter into this next change decade, it is sure to provide huge opportunities to improve our current health care system and allow a great impetus for those companies and technology offerings that can step up to the plate. www.himss.org is right around the corner in Atlanta, GA in March, but in the meantime I will provide what insight I can on a weekly basis. This blog is dedicated to improve the lives of patients and also the the entire health care ecosystem. For one I have seen first hand patients saved and lives improved by incorporating the best of breed wireless and medical connectivity technologies, It is the corporate goal of Integra Systems, Inc. to make this continue to happen.  Thank you for your support in all regards.
