I have blogged a lot “and written” what I feel are the best RTLS solutions. They are in my professional opinion “not Wi-Fi based”. However, if folks do want to go down that route be sure to read carefully this over 200 page guide in its gory detail. (It is over 10MB!) Be prepared to spend a boatload of cash on extra AP(s), and all the rest of the infrastructure as well as ongoing OPEX consulting dollars.
