After serving as the the head of biomedical engineering at Texas Children's Hospital, Houston, Texas for more than 25 years, Yadin David has launched Biomedical Engineering Consultants, LLC, a consulting firm focused on medical technology management.
Biomedical Engineering Consultants advises clients in industry, healthcare delivery, government, and academic institutions on engineering issues and other topics related to support issues. The full-service consulting firm specializes in all medical technology issues and also provides litigation support in the medical technology field.
Through his new company, David will continue to focus on risk mitigation, patient safety, and operations efficiency issues. Biomedical Engineering Consultants recently launched a series of educational programs aimed at patient safety.
David was a founder and first president of Healthcare Technology Foundation, as well as the American College of Clinical Engineering. He also founded the Center for Telemedicine & e-Health Law, Washington D.C., and served as it's first elected president.
