Integra Systems, www.integrasystems.org in 2005 developed the original wireless medical device reference architecture in combination with technology innovators that provided the first ever real time patient monitoring application with alarms and data elements to be driven over a shared data, voice, and video infrastructure. As a result, costs were driven down in an exponential fashion versus disparate infrastructure the following year. This reference architecture was launched in EMEA and also received FDA 510K approval. It is becoming the standard of care. Since that time we have been instrumental in helping up to five different world class companies design test protocols and test plans for submission approval. We have also architected the right technical design models for GSM, CDMA, and LTE in concert with WIFI and WMTS, and developed working prototypes for many medical devices concerning such.
