Bird Technologies Group (BTG), has introduced the Bird Rescue Line Signal Booster, the first such signal booster system that fully complies with the IFC 2009 and NFPA 1 2009 codes. To comply with the new International FIre Code and National FIre Protection Association (IFC/NFPA) standards, the Bird RescueLIne delivered on several unique key objectives. It feaures a 12 hour battery back up and an alarm interface providing all five required alarm conditions, including antenna system failure (up or down link), and 70 per cent low battery. The Bird RescueLine is compatible with standard fire alarm panels. Please also see an educational "white paper" on "repeater amplifier systems. This is a very technical read, but is extremely important to understand. The quality and performance of a DAS deployment is inherent on the BDA (Bi-DIrectioal Amplifier) used. Not all BDA(s), are the same.
