In a test conducted by Network World, Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch 6850 came out on top for the lowest power consumption when idle and joint third when fully loaded. When idle, the OmniSwitch used just 79 watts, outclassing the competition and saving money for customers on their electricity bills. According to Network World, who provides informaton, intelligence and insight for network and IT executives, the test results gave Alcatel-Lucent "green bragging rights" for its product.
Alcatel phone systems are really good; its new launches always have something new to offer for its customers, these systems are affordable, efficient and more importantly user friendly than any other phone system I have experienced.
