An advantage of this specialist instrument is the ability to evaluate results according to safety standards. For example ICNIRP limit values curves can be shown for occupational safety and the general public. A variety of isotropic antennas capturing the field strength in three mutually perpendicular directions can be used. These antennas range from 9kHz to 300MHz, 27MHz to 3GHz, 9 kHz to 300MHz, 420 to 6GHz, 27MHz to 3 GHz, 8kHz to 250MHz.
